1989 ford engine and tranny to samurai tcase

t case

Why not loose the sami t case, use the ford one that's already bolted to the transmision, and build 2 driveshafts? That would be a whole lot simpler, and wouldn't require the big parts search. Is there a big driveshaft alignment issue or something?

I think it's the passenger side drop for the front that's causing the problem.

what i would do all depends on how high u wanna go with this sami, ive seen guys leave the transfer case on it, then still run a divorced case afterwords for a super low gear.

but a 2wd trans is the only way togo, yo need to find the c5 that came behind the older rangers with the 2.8 i think 85 or older. thats what u need
