I want to update this thread,

Time has gone by and the truck is still in progress. Angie and I separated a couple years back and the truck is still at her place.

That said. The engine is in, and is ready to by fired up and broke in. (have pics to post eventually. The passenger floor board was shot, have a new pan welded into place. hope to fire up the truck very soon. need to redo the cab by placing in floor carpets and the seats. hoping that by end july the rig will be on the road. will post pics soon.

Break ups are never easy. Hope it was amicable, which it looks like if its at her place and youre working on it.

slowly chewing at this project. the drivers floor is all new. and the seat is back, new carpet and all cleaned. slowly coming along. The transmission was at the shop for new seals and a bench check over. all in and now just working on getting the engine fired up. going to try using the TFI dist with a locked out advance and no computer with this rig. see how that goes. very close to firing it now. cheers
