02 Mustang GT Rear Axle Swap

Will an 02 Mustang GT axle be a bolt up application or would you advise getting an Exploder rear axle with brakes? Depending on the price of Mustang axle and how much of a pain in the arse it would be to swap out, I may or may not follow there with it.

A Mustang rearend would not be easy. It's pumkin is centered, it used coils spring susp, and it's much wider than the Ranger.

If you want discs, search threads for putting Mustang discs on a Ranger. (and car, '94 to '2004, v6, v8, 7.5 or 8.8 has what you need) It is very simple.
