Chasing some front end slop. Never did gusset my track bar mount. Probably should do that before the frame cracks.

Should have done this right away. I also adjusted my track bar after the gusset went on and the truck sails down the freeway with almost zero steering play. One finger on the wheel 70mph.
I didn't think there would be that much flex in the frame right there. Guess I was wrong :shok:
 
I wrap my track bar mounts up the side the of the frame for this exact reason. My first ever track bar mount bolted on using one steering box bolt and a bottom through bolt I drilled and tapped into the frame....it was always working loose.

On my coil spring SAS truck I took the gussets damn near to the top of the frame, but it sees more abuse since have a hydraulic ram on the pitman arm.
