@ericbphoto Just went back and looked at a different video, looks like they used a double universal joint

Link?
That 4.6 Mazda is not documented here. I knew of Rolling Thunder. It was part of my inspiration. The lack of a real shop and a tv show funding the build has really drug out my build time.

From minutes 6:00-7:00 they briefly show the parts and explain what they did. The video also talks about relocating other things

Are you going to box in the rear of the frame? I feel like that alone would add a LOT of strength back there.

Would also suggest some gussets on your lower shock mounts... probably not a huge deal since you don't have a lot of weight back there but I feel like a little bit more meat will help keep those attached... and a lot more reinforcement on that upper shock mount too, it is really holding the weight of your truck now. I can see that coming apart really quickly, left the way it is.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
The mod motors sound exceptional. I had a full kooks system on my p71 and it had the second best sound of any car I've owned (first being 3" straight piped turbo subaru)

However, the 2v heads are junk  I would've liked to 3 or 4v swap it but.. Also wanted to buy a dirtbike so I hastily traded it for the first ranger to come along lol. They got the better deal. I got a bike though! 😂

Yeah. They skimmed right over it, didnt they. Still gotta be nice to have a shop like that.
