ok i found this the other day in my driveway and have know idea what it goes to, i assume its a plug for somthing because of the o-rings. it has 4 little dots on one side of the shaft and this metal ball on the end, the top is smooth. i have my ranger and the wifes grand cherokee in the driveway, not really much else comes down there, maybee a plow part from the plow guy?

Well it isn't part of your Ranger.

Might be part of a plow setup. Doesn't look familiar.

Maybe it's part of a spaceship that fell from the sky.

oh shit, you've done it now. that was the ONLY thing holding the body of your ranger to the frame.

j/k, i've never seen one of those on a rbv.....and the first thing i thought of was that it looked like a draincock (hahahaha, that's my favorite car part) for a radiator.

also, it does look useless enough to cause some sort of catastrophic failure to your lady friends jeep

are you watching family guy?
