I used my '97 to haul my new US General tool box set home that I bought for the new shop... got the blue 56" top and bottom. They put the bottom crossways on the trailer just in front of the axle and the top lengthwise behind that. I tell you what, this extended cab 4 cylinder is no powerhouse... with that parachute of a box behind the bed all it would do was 55mph in 4th gear... but I was only going about 12 miles...

Now if I just had somewhere to put them while I'm doing the floor for the shop... I got enticed by a sale on the boxes...

Worked on repairing a leaf spring on the red Ranger. Was almost successful, but I couldn’t find my u-bolts in the dark. That is the last bit of the puzzle so we’ll give it another go tomorrow.

The 2019 4X4 truck tailgates are pretty high up. I might have to get one of those.

Red Ranger got the leaf spring repair finished, new brake line and tire repaired. Going to put the bed back in place tomorrow and go back to working on the green Ranger, lol

I had tore the interior out of my 90 2.3L turbo ranger because it had sat for Soooo long (like 10 years), that the emergency brake was frozen and rusted in place. Tearing out the dash revealed hidden rust below the windshield..have to fix in the future. Just got he dash back in today. Should have a pile of screws left over once I think it's "done". Should have it together tomorrow enough to maybe take it for a spin and a bit of tuning.

Red Ranger is back together. Of course now the brake light is on and the front calipers feel like they are sticking a little. Plus it rained most of the day which the weatherman said would not happen which made things more interesting :annoyed::annoyed::pissedoff:

Got the timing chain adjusters changed on the 2011. Of course the hard one to get to is the one that leaked. I got it sorted but Murphy’s Law as usual.
