Okay. I have a 93 ranger 4.0L with AT. The trans took a dump so my brilliant cousin swaped it out for a used junk yard trans. It works but thats about all I can say for it. My biggest complaint is a vibration when the truck is somewhere between approx. 28-35 mph. Once beyond the 35 mark it is not noticable. Could just be a higher frequency shudder that I can't feel. Don't know which. If I speed up to beyond the vibration and shift into nuetral it will still vibrate when the truck slows back down through that 35-28 mph mark. My question is, what is spinning in the tranny when it rolls in nuetral? Could this be a sign that it is something else entirely? U-joint maybe? Could the brainiac have put the driveshaft back in wrong throwing it out of whack? This is not a daily driver and am considering selling it. But I would love to remedy this before I do. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
