sorta like this autoanything.com/deflectors/60A1739A0A0.aspx
are they worth it?
any cons?
is that vent visor for fronts only?? I am looking for visor that are plastic things that go on the door so you can roll down your window a bit when its raining and no rain will get it. know what i mean? Thanks in advance.

The only thing I don't like about them is the make the A-pillar about twice as thick for seeing stuff... and that is the only thing I don't like about them.

I don't really have an issue with them. They are on both the pickups and we are waiting to get back from the honeymoon to get a set for the Escape.

I have never had them cause visibility issues, but they are a life saver on rainy days in the summer since I have no A/C.

Mine were on when I bought my truck, love them to keep the windows cracked in the summer, especially when it's raining to keep from fogging up. I have the metal ones and I like them better than the plastic ones simply because I go wheelin a lot and I had my plastic bug deflector torn wheelin.

I got mine from Wally World, although I don't see them listed now. I think they were about 1/2 the cost of AVS (but that was in 2003). They're great. I believe the in-channel are much better than the ones that stick on the outside of the door with double faced tape.

Worth every penny. I wouldn't worry about about where they mount, they use the same adhesive tape as the mouldings on most cars and trucks. The ones on my Jeep have been there since November of 2002 and they haven't came off. My last Cherokee had them on for 7 years and they didn't come off even with all the trips to the auto car wash. The ones on my Ranger, fell off. Apparently that tape doesn't like sticking to the window run so if the window is down, they are more likely to fall out.

i love m y set of them... only problem is i had one set that was glue on the outside of the F 150 and for whatever reason thre was a small spot where it didnt stick right and it would whistle at high speeds, but they are great in the rain like everyone else said
I just spent $50 on a set for the new ranger today

I must be weird, I hate those fawkin' things. Those and the bug shield were the first thing to come off of my Dakota.

I might be buying a set here soon for my truck. My dad has them on his F-250 and they are awesome.

I put them on every vehicle I own now. They are great! You can still leave windows cracked when raining. Help airflow into the vehicle. I just don't like the ones that stick on the outside. The set I have on the sunfire are virtually worthless but the ranger and van works great!
