i do most of my browsing on a netbook. its way underpowered by today's standards but its just fine for what i need it for. my biggest gripe is when i click on a news story or something similar and i have a video that starts playing. i know how to read, i dont need a video, and half the time it starts with a commercial advertisement that cannot be paused with the video player. anybody have suggestions on how to stop this crap? ive read about plug-ins for firefox but ive also read that the one good one isnt out there any more and everything else is either ineffective or overkill. im open to any and all suggestions, any browsers and any plug-ins. just tell me what you use.
