Depends if you want to spend 30 seconds putting anti sieze on it, or spend 20 minutes fighting it next time...

Is that one of those trick questions? :)

Thanks anti-seize it is!!
if it comes off my truck it gets anti seize when it goes back on.

i also use on the contact points between bushings and the metal (cuts down on suspension squeeks..

i don't use it on any bolts on the drive shaft those get locktite..

nice, i'm lazy so i often break the rules, but my rule of thumb is every bolt gets either antiseize or loctite!

drive shafts being one of the only ones needing loctite...

What about caliper bracket bolts?

caliper bolts, anti-seize, bracket, loctite, but like I said, i break rules, and I think what you're looking for is clarification on the "one of the only" portion of that post... there's a few, driveshaft bolts being one of the few

I don't locktite fawk all. Just proper torque. Antiseize or a spray of honey goo on most fasteners as I assemble stuff.

I think the only thing I have ever actually put loctite on, on my truck, were the body bolts, when I did my BL... I replaced a caliper bolt, but the new one came with loctite on it already

My credo
Love Thy Neighbor
I use rust to make them stick and my engine oils everything else...only thing I use anti-seize on is my dipstick...you don't want some woman trapping you in a lip lock...
