Rhino liner, how much$$$

As a generalization how much $$$ to rhino line a six foot bed?

I don't have a Rhino-brand liner, but my spray-in liner cost $425. It was an over-the-rail liner on a six-foot bed. I had a $50-off coupon though.

IMO, it's worth it. They're sooo much better than drop-in liners. Easy access to the tie-down hooks instead of those stupid holes in the plastic liner, slightly more space in the bed, won't trap moisture underneath the liner and rust the bed, and things in the bed don't slide around nearly as much. The trucks I drive at work have drop-in liners and things slide around sooo easily it's ridiculous. One time I had a 100 lb marine battery slide forward and slam into the back of the cab when I was coming to a stop. (scared the crap out of a lady jogging nearby ) And I was very easy on the brakes. Carrying 5 gallon buckets of oil can be a bit nerve-racking. Don't have any slide-around problems at all with my spray-in liner.

My brother in laws brother had his truck done like 8 years ago or so with rhino liners and it still to this day looks like they just sprayed it. Granted he doesnt haul anything and he mainly got it for just the protection but still, lasted 8 years through chicago weather and still looks brand new.

My brother in laws brother had his truck done like 8 years ago or so with rhino liners and it still to this day looks like they just sprayed it. Granted he doesnt haul anything and he mainly got it for just the protection but still, lasted 8 years through chicago weather and still looks brand new.

well, be happy he doesnt use it....i know alot of people that got them when they frist came out and were supposed to be the be all end all solution to spray in bed liners.....they dont hadnle the abuse

I was thinking about getting the LineX done. But I would like my drop-in bed liner put back in. I want the LineX for rust protection and the drop-in for impact proctection. For me, when it comes down to tossing logs, rocks, bricks, trash, tools, parts, etc. I'm not too graceful and just chuck them right in.

Yes, things do slide on a drop-in liner. But it also makes unloading easier. Just throw it in Reverse and slam the brakes. Everything in the bed comes sliding on out.

actually, the linex is pretty amazing shit for impact resistance, found out with a standard spray and some buckshot

I honestly don't know. My mom knew I was gonna get a liner and she found that coupon. It was probably out of one of those coupon books you randomly get in the mail. I'll bet if I asked her she wouldn't remember.
