need new tail pipes, muffler and middle for a 1988 ford ranger v6 2.9l xlt

i have a 1988 ford ranger V6 2.9L. it is all stock, but the middle pipe broke off need to know what kind to get?

I got one from Advance auto parts. It's made by Walker,kinda thin but cheap and fit well.

The pipe is thinner gauge (cheaper). It is not really under any stress if you use a hanger for the muffler. The flange that mates to the cat conv is plenty thick though and get a gasket for it if you get one. I changed mine at my uncles shop so I used the torch to blow out the old bolts or studs and used new bolts.

Go buy a glass pack 20 bucks and dump in front of the tire so for pipe clamps and hangers under 100 bucks and will sound great and get you some mpg's

NO! That's not a good reason. Not only do you piss off everyone around you, you are also breaking the law.....tho breaking the law [IMO] is not as important as the pollution I'll have to breath.

Tried it. Doesn't really work. Just makes it sound stupid, like a ricer, and it hurts performance.
