I've never heard of a 1350 without a slip yoke. (That would make a 1354 wouldn't it?)

Have you tried to take the front driveshaft out?

It's a STX transfer case, they're the only 1350's with that style front output, a 1354 might be an easier to find option, if the FM is the same length as an M5OD/A4LD then use the front drive shaft from the donor, just remember to grab the shift linkages from the donor truck.

IIRC the double cardan attaching yoke for the STX case is just a piece that goes into the slip-yoke output, and can be removed just by pulling on it. That means any 1350 case can be converted in about 2 minutes.

My experience has been that its a lot easier to find parts for the 1350 than it is the 1354. If you need a rebuild kit/parts go check out the guys at Cobra Transmission. They are very helpful and their customer service is awesome. Also have you thought about having your t-case welded? Depending on where the crack is that could be a cheaper option depending on how readily available another t-case is... just a thought

I will stick with my previous point of finding a normal 1350 or 1354, those STX transfer cases are rare, and unless you get one from AllanD (if he has one... you never know) your chances of finding that are slim. Grab yourself the front driveshaft out of the donor truck too, it'll be the right length.

Actually, I've seen an early 1354 or two, and at least one of them had 1350 cast in it, but I think it said 1354 somewhere on a sticker or something.
