I don't know enough about city life to speak about the majority of them. I do know that car ownership is less of a thing in New York City due to the expense. Especially since it has such an extensive mass transit network. Car ownership is less of a priority and at least when it comes to New Yorkers, thank God. Horrible drivers.Yes I understand that. I live in the middle of nowhere. Cars should be a rural thing and probably eliminated or greatly reduced in cities.
With my experience in Europe. Most towns and cities are so old, they were built with foot traffic and horse and carriage in mind. Small vehicles make absolute sense there for a multitude of reasons. The only place I was able to use mass transit to get to and from work was in Hungary, because we were operating out of the old international airport. Elsewhere, it wasn't available since we were working on European military bases or we weren't allowed off base anyway.
