I did a search. Didn't find quite what I was looking for. If someone knows where the info is on here, please feel free to share it. I may not have hit the search string that would find it.
I have a 2000 Ranger XLT EXT 2WD 3.0L FLEX, towing package. I have added a 4" spindle lift to the front, and an add-a-leaf + shackle to the rear. I have also upgraded to the 4 leaf springs (3 leaves + the overload). It came from the factory with the 3 leaf (2 leafs + the overload). This puts me at a very stout 4 leaf + the overload. I have confirmed I have 10" rear drum brakes and 10.25" (10.28"?) Front Disc. I am doing a heavy rebuild and upgrade to the old girl. I have decided to use the PowerStop Z36 brakes. Through careful research, I have found out that the 2000 Ranger had options for both 10.25" and 11.25" front brakes. Apparently the 11.25" were on a special edition version. The spindle is the same for either one. The rotor/hub, caliper, and caliper bracket are different.
I want to upgrade mine to the larger rotors. I have two questions though. First, is the dust plate the same or do I need to change it also? Second, Will this fit inside the 15" rims? I plan to add 17" rims, but that will not happen for 6 months or so.
Thanks for any help you can provide. I'd like to get another 23 years out of her.
