Hi,
I've known about the website for a while now, but I finally needed some help with something I couldn't figure out and registered in order to use the forums. My first Ranger was an '86 2WD and I had to scrounge up an engine for it before I could even drive it. Ended up putting a carbureted 2.8 in there in place of the FI 2.9. A real beater, but it served me well for a few years.
Currently, my Ranger is a very clean and simple 2000 4x4, with the 3.0 and auto trans.
I am an Army National Guardsman with two OIF tours behind me, and currently serving as an instructor at Ft. Hood, TX.
Looking forward to sharing insights and info with all of you.
John
