Hi All-
I recently purchased a 1990 Ranger to race in the 24 hours of lemons. It was my buddy's brother's car and has previously completed races. I've done a ton of reading on the forums. One thing I'm trying to understand is the difference between the 90 spindles and the 95-97 spindles. Why does everyone that does a brake upgrade use the newer spindles? I've purchased 4 caliper wilwoods and plan to run the 13" Cobra rotor. Based on all the information I've read, it looks like we should machine down a 95-97 rotor to slide inside of the Cobra rotor? We'll then measure and Fab everything afterwards. I've got some other fun things in store for the truck. I'll post photos as we build.
