As for having an opinion, even if it is wrong according to half of the population is the right of everyone here. do not disrespect another person because they don't think like you. that is the wonderful thing about our country, we have the right to tell our officials they are full of crap and we can vote them out if they prove we are right. try doing that in some of the other countries and you can wake up in the middle of the night to having you and your family hauled away at gun point.

Are we perfect? No. but even if you do not like a president's stance or thoughts on life in general, the most wonderful thing about that is that you only have to deal with him for 4 to 8 years and then he is gone. What we really need is that rule applied to *all* elected officials, not just the president.

bottom line before my ADHD kicks in and start seeing squirrels, treat each other with respect, and you don't have to agree with their political choices, but with an open dialog with each other, you can come to understand why they make those choices they can understand why you make yours. In the end, we all are Ranger fans, so we are not as all flawed as we think we are

Americans abide, most people want their team to win, after all its YOUR team, lol
But if they don't.....well.................there will be other games, no beating up of the fans of other team allowed, we abide, or should
Unless its parents at a kids game, way more Dudeness need there some times, lol

So (6) people have died here in the US from Coronavirus. 11 states now have it. Texas has got to be on the list soon. DFW is the 4th busiest airport, and we get people flying here from China.

A woman in New York has it. She recently returned from Iran, which has almost 1,000 cases and 54 deaths. Now they're trying to contact people that were on her flight, as well as the private car service (Uber?) that gave her a ride form the airport. If she infected them, imagine how many they have infected.

I don't know how the government can say that they have this contained.

There is one person in the hospital right around my pizzeria. Confirmed case. I have over two thousand customers come in there a week. I think currently 17 people on payroll... some kids from three different high schools in the area. That is some serious contact with people... at least in my view.

Kinda leaves me wondering...

When we have people flying here from infected countries it is going to be hard to contain it...

Seriously though. It's not a huge problem at the moment, but people need to be aware.

A woman was quarantined in San Antonio Texas after she returned from China. A 3rd test came back positive for the virus after they had already released her in to the public. 120-passengers from the Diamond Princess cruise ship are quarantined in San Antonio Texas, and were suppose to be released on Monday. There are (11) patients being treated for a mild case of it here in Texas, and I just saw where (5) Dallas police officers are suspected of coming in contact with it from someone that they arrested and put in jail.

Therefore, my voice of reason is to remind people that it's real, and to be careful.

I mean, maybe the chances are one in a million, and we know how that can work out:

I'm so anti social this stuff doesn't phase me. I got my vaccinations for the horrible stuff... small pox, anthrax, rabies, measles, hepatitis etc... its gon a get worse before it gets better but it's not that bad in the grand scheme of things and if you live like me, you ain't gettin sick.

Colds are different, and called "colds" because they routinely spread when the weather is cold, in the Northern Hemisphere, because people move inside and are in closer contact so it spreads easier from person to person
Flu spreads the same way
You can not get a cold or the flu because you got a "chill", usually the chill feeling is because you are already sick and have a fever, lol

Work and social "ethics", require us to attend to our obligations, using sick days are frowned upon as are missing social gatherings(they will talk about you if you don't show up, lol, my wife told me that)
And so we spread the germ's and virus's around out of obligation
