- If it's not broken Don't Fix It!
94 Ranger XLT, stock brakes. Yesterday my brake light on the dash came on, but very dim, and stayed on. I'm hoping you guys here have seen this issue before and know the most common causes of the very dim light? I do know a bad ground will cause this so tomorrow, when it is not raining, I will be going over the grounds to check them but am not sure what else can cause this if all the grounds are good?
Brake lines are good and hold pressure, Master cylinder is full, ABS pump on the frame is bad but brakes work fine with it hooked up, Parking brake causes the light to come on full but when release it is still on dim,
Oh, does anyone know where all, or some, of the grounds on the 94 "2WD", if it makes a difference, are located? It would make the checking much quicker knowing where to look to start with. I know there is one from the engine to either the fire wall or the frame but beyond that I have no clue where the others would be located.
