I am leaving this alone alone now. I have been warned to take it to PM.
this is a nice truck ..... why would anybody want to screw it up by doing an SAS with an axle that barely stands up to a 4 cyl jeep? Why would anybody do an SAS to a daily driver anyways?
Alot of you stepped into something you know nothing about. it is not that he said something stupid, I am the one guilty of that. It is the fact that this isn't the first time this has come up and he refuses to learn anything about TTB and maintains that an SAS with an inferior axle is easier than properly setting up a D35 TTB under an RBV.
This site isn't only for people that own RBVs (thats like saying only people that own guns can joint the NRA) it is for RBV enthusiasts. Yes i currently own a chevy but in the past I have also owned a few Toyotas, dodges, full size fords, plenty of RBVs, and even a few jeeps...... BTW ..... I have put 10,000 miles on my chevy since I bought it back in may, that gives it 207,XXX miles. I bought my last Bronco on March 17 and it lasted 4 days before it had head lift with an engine that had 90,XXX miles.
again that is a nice pick up. I like the paint and the bumper. Lose the body lift, build longer radius arms for it, gear it with some 4.56, lock it, and replace the flares with some flared fenders and bed sides and you will really have something there. Its had a good start, just needs to be finished.
