Sure the support is out of square or is the frame tweaked?

Maybe someone has a copy of a builders guide in your year range that can help you. I have a spec sheet for the 2011 but there might be enough differences that it won't help you. Maybe @RonD, @adsm08, or @19Walt93 has access to the information you need.

My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
just measure one side from the middle out, then flip it around and double it up or whatever....straight edge and like 2 beers helps...maybe an angle cube.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
Check with a body shop, they have all kinds of measurements that they use to square things up.

I don't have a builders guide or body manual for anything in that year range. Used to, sold a lot of books I didn't need a few years back.

The core support should be pretty straight up and down.

I don't know if this will help you. It's the best picture I have of the rad support on my 1990. At the very least it will give you a reference point for the passenger side, you can see where it is in relation to the one fender bolt, as well as there's a stamp on the fender that you can see.

Hey everyone I like to thank u guys for the input adsm08 thanks for ur info in trying to find out if the support is straight up and down cause mine is tilted in Walt 93 I did check with some shops but they don't go back that far rangerinsk thanks for the pic but its not showing me the measurements but greatly appreciated I was hoping to c if anyone else had their truck stripped down in the front so they could measure but I guess I only have a couple choices try to find a ranger in a junkyard which is hard around me cause the yards just crush them now instead of saving them or I just go back to what it was at and keep messing with it
