Glad to be even a little bit of an inspiration/bad influence! So we feeding this beast with a whiney boy and a spooly boy?!
That's it! Gonna make all the noises, roast all the tires, burn all the gas.

Supposedly $37k...but like they say: go big or go home (LOL)...JK
Wow. Yeah. For that much money I'd build a super high revving big block.. or two. Depends how much a custom flat plane crank and cam costs lol.

A racecar needs carbon.. somewhere.. so I bought a very small 'sheet' of it off ebay to make a guage panel out of.

Just need to figure out the guage arrangement and find my holesaws.

The carbon piece will simply be riveted to the factory stamped cluster face or whatever you wanna call it. I got a handful of copper rivets to use laying around somewhere.

I cut the piece to size with a grinder, and drilled my holes for the rivets with the gun in reverse, both methods worked perfectly.

The carbon idea was mostly out of irony lol.

The car is probably forever going to smell like mice.. but.. I'll have a super sweet guage panel 😅

Yeah christ.. I think the mice smell would probably end up being less offensive than that many black ice trees lol.

Spoiling myself this month.. all the dollars I make that don't need to pay bills are going towards the never ending list of parts this needs. I really want to race the damn thing this year.

Stock of super skinny racing front tires with a load rating high enough for this boat are.. non existent at the moment. Bought a random pair of 165/85s to run for the time being. Used some ebay points I accumulated last year and I'm only out 125$ 👍

Other than the tires the only thing I expect to get this month is a holley super sniper e-carb. 1200hp capable 🤩 and unless I get screwed on taxes my refund will turned into a Moser ford 9" housing 😎

Got the inner fenders mostly yanked out.. don't need them where were going. Called it quits once it started raining again.

I really need to go get myself a bottle of argon. Firewall needs patching where the hvac box used to be, spare tire well needs to be patched, and last I looked.. a couple spots under the pedals need patching. Hoping that's just about it. I want to get that stuff sorted before I start putting parts back in it.

Unless I'm really surprised with my paycheck next week.. not gonna be able to buy my carb this month as I'd hoped.. might have to wait until the first week of Feb. Damn thing IS 1800$ though so I'm not too upset.

After I get the carb.. all I need to buy is an ignition controller to get it to run. I'm hoping my financial obligations leave me with enough cash left over to get one by the end of next month.

Got bored yesterday.. decided to make a little intro video for the car. Not the most exciting video but it shows the overall shitboxness I have to work with 😋

Also started a video detailing my 'big block' snowblower swap too.. once I get the blower itself completed and we recieve a decent amount of snow I'll finish that video up and post it over in farm&garden.

Thats mean.. I'm relatively sure prolonged exposure to the interior at this point would give a guy the hantavirus... at best lol.

Originally I wanted it to be a cool street/strip car.. but considering the condition of the interior at this point I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna rip it all out and go full strip with it. It would cost a fortune to bring the interior back to good condition. I *might* have the front seat re-done.. well see.
