sooo...
I started on a 64 swap(with shackle flip), but once I had the spring in on the one side it didn't seem quite right.

I moved the front bracket up so it matched with the front holes on the frame, then drilled 2 holes where there were none.

In the air....

but when its loaded up with just the weight of the frame, it looks as if the shacke sits way too far back....

So my question is, when you use 64's do you move the rear shackle back as well?

im thinking you should of had the front bracket forwards more. i heard that on the extended cab models you need to cut out a section of the rear body mount

I moved the rear hanger back 3" on mine. Your front hanger looks different as well, I'd measure to see if it moved forward the 6" it was supposed to.

hmmmm....
the rear cab mount on my truck is wayyy under there... I'd say about 6" behind the rear wall of the cab. I could probably move that bracket forward another 2 inches or so without having to put it on a weird angle, or before I start to move my axle forward with it.

The hole centers are approx 6.25" apart, so if anything my bracket moved forward more by about a quarter inch. I guess I have to move my rear bracket back more... but the hitch is in the way :dunno:

Yeah they're stock for now....

I removed the factory lift blocks, which were only an inch thick.

I havent measured exactly where I am now, but after flipping the shackles and putting in the 64's... it looks like im sitting at the stock height... without blocks
