Is there a difference in the size of the blower housing depending on the type? Want to get rid of my ac but keep my heat

You can see in the picture that the lower right of the AC box has been cut out, that was most likely for a V8 conversion
You may need to do that with the non-AC box, but just that lower corner

I saw that. That's why I was hoping the heat only was smaller so I would have to modify it less. You are very helpful thank you
