I have a 1354 transfer case (elec.) but the parts inside look more like the ones from the 4407. In my case in the exploded factory drawing, the 1354 is missing the part that is worn out which is the shift collar hub. However, it appears in the exploded drawing for the BW 4407.
Anybody had to deal with this anomaly? Not sure which parts to buy now and I live in Costa Rica so i am doing this all on line!

Found it. Part # 43, Shift Collar Hub, base part number 7100.

It is in a really stupid spot in the expolded diagram. It isn't down with 41, 42 and 44. It is directly to the right of 13.

Saved me!

Eso!
Thanks for the help- that was extremely generous of you.
I will try to exploit this information and use it to get the part.
Thanks again.

1354 versus 4407

I see the #43 Shift Collar Hub well in the drawing for transfer case 4407. However, in the drawing for the transfer case BW1354, which is what the tag on my case says it is, it is not in the drawing (http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_catalog/transfer_case_replacements_and_parts/bw1354.html). In that drawing you can see parts #19-23 but there is no Shift Collar Hub gear there. Hmmmm. Everything else is there, but the drawing that seems exactly the same is the transfer case that you are referring to, which is the BW4407 (http://www.drivetrain.com/images/stories/bw4407_partslist_1_lg.jpg) . That is the quandry.

I am looking in the 2004 Ranger shop manual and the exploded view pic there is the same as the 4407 one that you posted a link to.

Must be 4407parts in a 1354 case housing

Thanks again. Yes this is the 2004 model BW 4407 which looks exactly like the parts from our transfer case and indeed the part#43, Shift Collar Hub is visible as it should be. My only dilemma is that the tag on our case says 4B and under that has the numbers "13-54-000-050 Borg Warner," which would lead me to believe that it is a 1354.
I guess I should stick with the drawing you pasted as it is the one that looks exactly like the parts we took out, including, most importantly, the part #43.
Thanks for sticking with this for me.
