Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been asked already but I couldn't find anything with the search that fully answered my question.

Can the 06 and newer side power mirrors be swapped onto a 2000?

Thanks,

Yes, but I beleive there is an extra hole you need to drill to make it fit. Drilling a hole in my '98 just isn't worth it to me (even if it is a little bit of a bondo sled) to fit newer mirrors.

They'll bolt right up..... kinda. lol. You'll need to drill out the holes in your door to fit them. Then use washers as spacers on the inside of the door....I believe the holes need to be 7/8"? maybe it's 5/8" just larger than the mounting pad on the mirror.

I didn't even bother with the proper drill bit. I just grabbed whatever and rounded out the holes.

And I'm kicking myself for not doing a road trip and buying it.
