07 engine removal confusion...

See if you can get in there to tell what wire colors are on those connectors. That's help figure out what they are.

I figured one of them out. It goes to the crank sensor on the bottom front. I will try to get on the other one and see what colors they are.
I am wondering if the wires on the one Ive attached can be spliced? I should have routed it before putting the front of the engine on and its gonna be a bear to get it down there if I cant splice it.
I appreciate your help with this!!!

I wouldn't a crank sensor if there is ANY other way. AFAIK those are like ethernet cable with a required number of twist per foot.

Good morning!
I did get the crank sensor routed this morning and now the 1 wire is left. I was able to pull the cover back and one of the wires is white and the other is pink and purple.

WOW!!! the knock sensor is on top of the engine beneath the intake manifold. A thick disc shaped piece with a bolt thru the center and a pig tail with a connector. I think that may be where the problem lies...
Im gonna head back out and have a look...
will keep you posted!
Thanks
