This weekend upon trying to change my diff fluid in my 2000 ranger I started to strip my rear diff fill plug. 7.5" diff, I am wondering if anyone has the size/thread pitch or where I can get another one
Thanks!

Stripped the drive socket just a tad, I can probably still work it out but I wanted to grab a replacement first so I don't have trouble closing it up again. Thanks, I'll post when I get the 3/8 npt and how it works outDid you strip the threads or the drive socket?
I could be wrong... but I believe they are just a 3/8 NPT.
Pipe threads don't require a bunch of torque... a wrap of tape or a touch of sealer and run them in snug. Folks tend to go way overboard on pipe threads..
So a couple weeks ago I finally did the diff. and was able to work the old plug out without drilling or anything as I first thought I would have to. The pipe fittings I bought were too small to properly fit, a near exact replacement was diff. cover fill plug, Dana 30, 84-18 Jeep Models made by Omix-ADAStripped the drive socket just a tad, I can probably still work it out but I wanted to grab a replacement first so I don't have trouble closing it up again.
