just get a V8
LOL, I got the v8 (needs a little work but I got it), now I'm trying to get my ducks in a row so my v8 c4 can actually bolt to a transfer case or 2 under there.
So turns out Cariboo Chrome isn't going to be my local spline cutting source, he said shop rate is $70/hr and figures it will take upwards of 8-9 hours to do what I'm asking! wtf?
So back to square 1 again.
There's a couple places left but I have to have the pieces in hand and go there to explain what I'm after to get a quote...sigh.
So first up I take the 2wd c4 apart as the output shaft is the last piece to come out, then I get ahold of 1 of the 1354's CJ has and take it apart so I can get the input shaft and 6 pinion planetary and associated parts for my 1350m reduction box, then I can start building the c4 to 1354 adapter and doubler plate to figure out how long my shafts and splines need to be so I can get them built asap.
I might just send them both out your way SVT, or Andres to get them splined.
I really need to get heat in my shop, it's cold and winter here....
