It's a bunch of pinholes all over the one side. Tried JB welding it once but no luck. It just rusted through in other places. I definitely need to replace. Can you see where it is leaking from? I did this once and it worked well for a long term, temp fix. I accually took the pan off, but it could stay on, but I cleaned it up really good, and spread a thin layer of JB weld over the rusted area. It fixed it right up and only cost me a pan gasket, oil change, and a pack of JB weld.
Nah, I've just been keeping the panel off and pulling the two ends together when I want to take it down. Since I have alot of rust on my tailgate I'm just going to replace the whole thing. Only $30 at a junkyard, if I can't find my color I'll pick up a can of duplicolor and just spray it down.Koda - need a tailgate handle?
