i like the way the truck looks and nice job on the lift btw where did you get that back rack for you truck
Thanks. The rack is a one off design that I did and had a local welder fabricate. It works quite well for what it is.

Pictures with fenders mounted up...

When the existing tires wear out I will go with 35X12.5's (current tires are 33X10.5's). Next task will likely be the addition of a skid plate to the existing bumper.

The conversion took a buddy and I 30+ hours (60 man hours). As for lift, my truck sat higher with the RCD kit.

My truck was sitting level when the first pictures were shot, but I only had a couple of inches of down travel left. Once I reduced the preload, the front of the truck is probably 3" over stock plus tire height.

Not really a 4X4 killer. I am just waiting on the half shafts. Aaron was out of stock when my kit shipped out. 4X4 should be up and kicking in a couple of weeks.

I live in Tucson. It will be a while until I can afford to play with the rear suspension, but I will have to chat with 84 to see what his impressions are in regards to the Giant spring pack.
you might want to talk to dave at threat motorsports about his rear leaf kit he makes. from all i hear its just as good if not better than the giant kit. personally i htink the giant kit is a bit over priced but i got mine used for a good price and now i jsut need shocks :D. 16" tripple bypasses baby

Because we all dream of having a truck like that, except I would want a standard box.

Thanks for the compliment! In regards to your question on the magazine spread, my truck was featured in the April 2009 issue of 4 Wheel Drive and Sport Utility Magazine. The article was named "The Ford Side of Life." The article was done prior to my removing the RCD kit and installing the Dixon kit.

As for the standard box comment, I am with you on that one. At some point in the future, I will either fully cage the truck or at a minimum swap in a standard box with aftermarket flaired bedsides.

So what happened to the RCD? Did it go to a new happy home?

The rear axle portion of the RCD lift is still on the truck until I can afford to LT the rear. The front portion is in transit to it's new home in Virginia.

Quick couple questions. How long are your limit straps? And, how much travel do your bumpstops allow? I am considering 2" bump stops for my set up.

I need to see this thing on youtube going over some whoops or something. I have a 2004 that I was thinking of putting this kit on.
