I have the Heddman headers 89500 The passenger side flange had to be cut off and shorten and had a bend welded on the header and the flange welded back on. If you stroll up I have pictures of it. The shop only charged me $252.20 for everything, pulled the header reshaped it and all new 2.25in pipes. To me that was a hell of a deal:icon_welder:

My bad mang, I did read about the headers but i thought those were in the selling stuff with the mounts.. I'm hoping the Patriot try ys work out well....they were much nicer in build quality than the headman and reading about how the 89500s that I also have don't always play nice...we'll see.[emoji482]

Been driving my truck, breaking in the motor. I love how it sounds, now time to find a 8.8 rear end and also drive to my mom's and get my built C4 with my torque converter and flywheel for next year racing season

What all did u have done to the c4? And what kind of racing u doing? 1/8 ,1/4?
Also, I located an explorer 8.8 locally at jy, they are going for about 250 by me....anything less than that is cool deal in my book.

My friend shop built the C4 with better clutches and gears and valve body. I race both 1/8 and 1/4 mile here a SGMP in Ga

Those 3.08s are great for cruising. My 7.5 with 3.73s and 32s is somehow holding up to my 5.0 still but have an explorer 8.8 waiting. Wish I had 3.08s to lower my rpms at cruising speed.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
i suggest you get some real oil filter hoses made.

and enjoy the domino effect of drivetrain destruction!!!!:icon_hornsup:
