While you are buying gaskets, see if they have a book there on "How to Rebuild a Small Block Ford". If not there, I'd sure try and find one. Better than Haynes or Chilton. Lots of info you're going to need and things to watch out for.

i checked the valves. i think im going to lap them. all 16 probably. at least until i get some good new aluminum heads

where does this ac delete kit bolt to the block? i know drivers side top, but theres 2 plates? anyone have pics of how it works? im looking

ok well i started in a really small part of the car port, well now... well you can see what happened, lol OOPS




got all the decks for new gaskets really clean





priming my new water pump (75 F150)





oh and how do yall like my 2 28" silverback tires and 4 2x4's table? :)

ok i guess ill run serpentines. i know i go back and forth, but ill just get a alt bracket that i can use as a tensioner also.

but see my crank pulley? it has 3 bolts, not four. every serpentine pulley kit ive seen the crank pulley has 4 bolts....?

hahah but polaris isnt. JK JK JK!

well i may stick with the v's afterall, but the water pump and the crank doesnt line up right now? hmmm, but i have to find a v pulley for my ranger power steering pump? would a mustang one fit it?

are ya'll using the fox body stang oil pump to clear the dual sump pan? mine deffinatly wont clear the pump thats on it

It is the same pump but you need the fox body pan and pickup. I have a pan for an 79 mustang that has the dipstick in the side of it. Let me know if you need it.

yea i got the pan already. i just need the pickup from the fox body?

any my pan has some kind of screw in place in the side for something? did you just plug yours?

That is a low oil sensor. Yes you can just plug it. Your dipstick in the timing cover is not going to work with a rear sump oil pan.

Can't say about your driveshaft until you have your motor in.

Depending on what tranny you use your shifter should work.

well im going to run a c4 automatic. and i think its a c5 thats in the truck rigth now, but i cant find a number or id tag on it anywhere... how many linkages go to the automatics?
