Well I guess Ill use the proper forum etiquette and introduce myself before asking any questions on here. My names Greg,Im from Fairbanks AK, Im a diesel mechanic, big time ford fanatic but this is my first small ford truck. Im a little more familiar with obdII systems and newer fuel injection systems so dont be surprised if I have a million and one questions. Im alot more familiar with Ford V8's then these V6's but it is in the plans for the future. Anything else you want to know just ask.

Welcome to TRS Greg. I am from Anchorage these days but came from Delta Junction. One of the best friends of my life lived in DJ and has a great son named Greg, miss that CAN DO man and broke my heart when he passed on. to this day.

How ironic the first person to reply is from Alaska with the same year ranger as my own. I gotta know from a semi local then it comes to parts napas and o reillys dont sell where are some good places to find parts, body, upgrade parts stuff like that, are there any good yards in Anc cuz the ones we have here are pretty much iffy at best. I spent the day in the shop replacing the seals and u joint in my front axle and the tranny modulator and ive been wondering if there is a good place to get a dana 35 diff cuz i dont think this 28 is going to survive the winter.
