What is it worth?

I have a 1996 ford ranger with a 2.3L 4cyl with a manual transmission I plan on doing a 302 engine swap. I want to sell the engine and trans an was woundering what its worth. It was 200K miles on it but runs awesome! Routine mantian has always been done and also just had a recent tune up.

Even though it's well maintained, those 200,000 miles are going to hurt the price. Last time I priced a 2.3 engine out it was about $500 for 120,000 miles and a 30 day warranty from a junkyard. I would say you could get $350-$500 for the engine if it's in good shape. Manual transmission usually run about the same (although the price is less influenced by miles). I would say $400-$500 for it. For both I would ask $650 or $700.
