Update on my 88 Ranger SAS


almost done with it, just got to make tranny mount and drop side of case mount, and drill 1 hole

now to get the cab on, and start chopping that floor away, i may have to do a little body lift to. ... i made sure everthing was flush or above the bottom of the frame rails so i can make a big easy full skid plate to protect all that stuff thats why its a little high

also just got 14 bolt truss, yoke guard, disc brake conversion so i will be installing that soon

with 3" body lift, im going to try and make it a 2" body lift but im going to have to do more cutting with that zf

Guardsman yoke gaurd - DIY4X
Discs/calipers and such - autozone

Still need 5.38 gears and spool

about done, diff cover next then gears
i have part numbers for everything if anyone wants them so they dont have to spend hours trying to figure it all out. i used dually studs thats why they stick out so far
 
That 14bolt's lookin' good.
 
so i just put my stock steering box in and my oil relocator fittings hit the box so i had to take them out... so does anyone know where i can order L shape fittings, or mabey a different steering box is what i was thinking... i might have to sometime anyways when i swap to 4 link front and move my axle forward.

There is a different oil filter adapter that has the ports coming out the side of it.
