Thanx for the links and pix. i haven't found any ranger sas kits yet,only toyota. looks like i have to measure my frame rails and compare the width to toyota. i want this soo bad! and after seeing your truck- i know its possible, well i mean .....streetable....unlike progectnightmares with the rockwells,lol. his truck is insanely killer cool .

he had some pix of his rockwell progect up before TRS changed everything on us. i dont know how far he has gotten with it yet. im sure he'll post pix when he's done. i can hardly wait.

How much lift springs did you put up front ? how big are your tires ? i just sent a picture of your truck to the ruff stuff guy so he can put a kit together for me. well , i mean for us guys here. after your motor and trans get in there .....whatta you thing your headlight height will be ? just trying not to be higher than pensylvania's lift laws. i might have to use a smaller spring.

i used superlift chevy 6" springs... they are a little stiffer then i wanted but i got them for 50 bucks from a friend, those are 36x14.5 inch tires on it now im going to run around a 40 inch tho when im done. i would use some 44044 or the RS44044 if you want a lil smaller. not sure on the headlight highth

what kinda kit are they making? i would just make it youself, steel was only like 50 bucks for everything to make it

he was telling me that i could use the toyota cross leaf spring stuff and fj40 stuff. i spent 20 minutes on the phone with him today and he was able to determine the amount of frame drop from the 2 measurements he told me to take. the base of the front frame and behind the wheel . both measurements were from the frame to the ground. he's not charging any extra to itemize everything i need to complete my progect based on the experience that he's had with other ranger owners. and 10% off all parts purchased = not too shabby.

Could I get some pictures of the Front Crossmember, and the Front Shackles. (Basically the front buildup of the truck)

it looks a lil better now (its fully painted, frame and body)

it still needs to be gusseted all over the front hanger

i think i made it all for around
100 bucks in metal for front hanger, shackle hangers and shackles
400 axle + 75 machining on knuckle and 100 for ball joints
60 bucks for springs
