Something missing?

Is there something missing from this fuel connection? I feel like there is and it doesn’t want to stay together very tightly…

That’s what I thought but I don’t see how that would fit together with what’s on there….

I’ve got a 2006, but been using a 2002 for spare parts, I’m gonna look around and make sure I didn’t mix them up on this somehow

If you're swapping things around every now and then Ford switched between quick connect types or between 5/16" and 3/8"...

Yeah, it’s not swapped. I found the other one and there’s no way those two go together. They’re both female sides so with a different retainer clip.
