Shop messed up.. maybe?

The cam synchro is just a distributor with one single tooth to pass by the sensor on top. A cheap one may not last as long, but as long as it's in position it should work fine. Unless the single tooth is somehow machined wrong and has a large air gap to the sensor.

ok so i finally timed it and had the battery disconnected to reset the CEL, went for a hard drive and it still engages reverse a little rough like it did before. The light hasn't come back on, and it does kind of feel like it runs better but I don't know. I guess we'll see
