- Let's see Paul Allen's Ranger.
Remote locate the new one.One final update drove it to work and went beautifully. Was able to keep 70mph without having the keep stomping on the gas to keep it there.
One thing is evident, the TFI is dying. Got a motor craft on order and that should fix all.
Once the engine bay gets hot, it has random hesitation in the upper rpms when gunning it. The tach reflects it. Doest do it when the engine is not hot.
Thanks again everyone.
I built a harness out of a junk one and a salvage tfi plug. Moved it to the fender well on a computer heatsink with thermal paste.
Truck was noticeably better, and they are much less likely to die if moved to somewhere cooler than where they shoved them.
