Hi,

I'm new and have a couple questions that might be on another forum but I don't see them.

#1 I have an 2011 4x4. I seldom see parts listed for this year. Was the last manufacturing year 2010 and I should just assume those year parts fit?

#2 I WANT head and taillights on with the key. Some might call these 'day time running lights' but there is seldom reference to the taillights. Most want to eliminate them. Other then Canadian vehciles, my dealer doesn't seem to be aware that they exist.

How can I hook these up witput screwing up the warrantee?

I don't have an answer...I have a question...

Did you check with your state laws on this? My niece moved to Tennessee about five years ago and brought down a Ford Winstar...in order to have the vehicle plated she had to disable the DTLs on the vehicle because they were for some reason, not legal in that state.

I know there was a module under the hood that controlled them and she simply had to disconnect that...but you might want to check on the Canadian version of the same model year and see if you can install the module without too much frustration...

As for parts on that model year they are probably the same since I haven't heard of any changes...but you may want to post this question in the General thread below to get better answers...the introduction section doesn't always draw the right people with the right answers...
