Giving it a day or two to be sure, but it definitely looks like the strainer was the problem. Ran great with the new one.

Thanks man, I think I actually have that already downloaded for this very reason. I wouldn't necessarily say I "want" to get involved, haha. But if this doesn't clear up I don't have many other options.Tenga

READ the instructions, the file needs to be renamed once downloaded, (and I would also virus scan, even though it's my file in the first place....)

If I had to guess? It got better when you replaced the sock...But did the pump sustain any damage due to the obstruction? It might have put some undue stress on it..
Might be time for a pressure and volume test on the fuel system.

I don't doubt that it could have sustained damage. But personally I think the pumps are running fine.
