hello, i have a 01 4wd 4.0l ranger with a regular cab. it has 135k on it. the cab is rough and i wanted to see what your thoughts are. im debating if i should fix it or scrap it. i got it for $2500.

i did find a rear window leak. the underside pics are the underside of the drivers seating area. i believe if i repair the pan i need to replace some support/crossmembers with the pan.

That’s not much rust...
If it runs good and you want to keep it for a long time, fix it now.
If it runs good and you don’t plan on keeping it long, live with it.
If it doesn’t run good... fix that first.

i have definitely been considering that. i dont know if i could do it myself.

I really like a reg cab 4x4 ranger so my vote is to fix.

Take care of it now and it'll serve you well for years to come. A buddy of mine is driving a 98 3.0 that has close to 350k on it, all original besides wear items.

It's really not all that bad.

Floors are the best way to learn body work.

Once again....id run it

i have an update i removed the stinky seats and flooring and scrubbed and vacummef it clean.

Better then any of my junk

i have another update. took the bed off after a local metal fabricator that came out to look at it suggested it and found the rear frame thin in more places than i took photos of. i went to 8 junk yards and not one in easter

n pa had a remotely usable ranger. i am trying to locate southern frame sections but its hard. i am definitely considering selling this to someone who has more ambition than i as the price tag on this just keeps going up. any thoughts?
