Rebuilt the 91 again, this time on 40s

Time for a 7 year update? Still have this pile, still firing money and time at it as permitted.

The big change has been ditching the 3" body lift for 1", trying to lower it some. Had to hammer the floor to clear the 351w exhaust, and rebuilt the heater box with sheetmetal and pop rivets. Took the front valance off for bumper clearance. Lots of endless little projects. I wheel it once or twice a year, drove it to work a handful of times last year.

Full build thread on irate4x4 (shameless plug :thefinger:)

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Nice to see others that are still building and wheeling old trucks, seems like we are few & far between these days.

All the guys I used to wheel with bought SxS then couldn't afford the payments and sold them. Found a little group with a resurgence of wheeling, one has built Sami, other has a built Comanche. The mutual friend that introduced me to them just picked up an 87 single cab Ranger on Saturday so we're working on getting that up to snuff. Best way to find used Ranger parts is still TRS.

I have a couple of leads on D35s to replace his D28, and trying to get some 5.13s from alwaysfloored. Plan is for a basic small lift medium tire build. I have 3 D60s right now but we're trying to not go full build yet
