Hi guys,
Not sure if this was the right category for this question. I have a 1997 Ranger XLT with 6 foot bed NOT flareside. My question is which part # fuel filler hose assembly is correct for my truck. It has a 125" wheel base. Napa sells a Spectra p/n FN518 which states its for a 6 ft bed. Dorman makes one p/n 577-902 which says its for 125" wheel base. Can anyone out there with the same truck offer any insight?

Thanks for the great website,

Tom

Get one off of fleabay for 40 bucks. easy to change out, just remove the bed, it will take you about 15 minutes to remove the bed with a helper, another 5 minutes to swap out the hose (if that) and another 15 minutes to slap the bed back on.

125" wheel base is the supercab I believe, and it does have a six foot bed. I think that the hose is the same whether or not it is an supercab or regular cab with the 6 foot bed.

Thanks for the quick reply. the spectra FN518 states is for a 6 foot bed, but since my super cab has a 125" wb, I need the dorman 577-902?

well the dorman will work, and the spectra might...If they are the same length I would say that they both will work. but the Dorman for sure.
