I checked the power at the inertia switch, and it gets 9.8V, but I found out that if I unplug injectors 3 and 4, I get up to 10.8V. Do you have any ideas where else I can get power?

I don't know how the inertia switch is wired in with regards to the fuel pump circuit, but check the basic stuff first. Fuses, relays, etc. Bad relays are a common issue with Ford.

yes I've already checked all that everything is new fuel pump, fuel filter, relay, fuses, but something is taking power i just can't figure it out the inertia switch is powered by the relay and then sends it to the fuel pump if it is tripped it shuts off the fuel pump, but it isn't even getting enough power

It sounds like you might have a wire issue. Either the harness chaffed something and is causing a short or there is corrosion in a connector or a place where the wire harness has been rubbed through. Being that you are getting some power and no fuses are blowing, I would bet it is a corrosion problem.

how are the wires/connector at the inertial switch??
they like to get hot and crispy. I had to replace the connector on my 2005 for that reason.

also, what engine do you have?

As someone else mentioned, corrosion may be an issue. I remember someone on one of the car/truck related forums having this problem and it turned out to be corrosion. Time to get out the wiring diagram and a multimeter to check continuity and resistance along that circuit.

If your local library has Chilton's Online you can find diagrams there. You can also find the diagram for the 4.0 here: https://charm.li/Ford/2007/Ranger 2.../Diagram Set 25 (Electronic Engine Controls)/

The differences between the 2.3 and 3.0 aren't going to be significant, if they are different at all.

i have a 2.3l and the inertial switch isnt burn

unplugging the injectors affecting the fuel pump voltage is not "logical", unless the computer has issues.

take a close look at the connector & wires.
check the voltages at the fuel pump relay.
this is from a 2005 manual, should be similar to your 2007.

yes I never realized to check for corrosion, and I did this Moring turns out Multiple of my connectors had corrosion I cleaned it all up and the truck fired right up thanks for the help
