Quick headlight question

I have a 97 and reallllllly want to get projector headlights. The headlights I am finding online aren't what I am looking for; However the headlights I do like are made for the 98. Would they fit my 97 ranger? Are the mounting brackets or size of them different from one to the other? Thanks for the input!

Ford updated the front clip in 1998, so 1998+ Headlights won't fit on your 1997.

You could swap the whole front clip:
