Well, I got SVT back together today
Here are some pics for you photo whores
You will notice in the last pic that my shock mounts are flat, instead of hanging down like the factory ones....I removed the swaybar mounts on the explorer axle, and removed the spring perches and shock mounts from the ranger axle, and installed them on the exploder axle...Well, as my luck would have it, I got it together, went for a test drive (less than 1/4 mile round trip) and about 500 ft from the house the driveshaft decides it doesn't want to play nice, and the ears break off at the axle end...the u-joint and caps are still in the flange attached to the axle, but the driveshaft was aluminum, and didn't like it
I had to remove the driveshaft in the rain and then get pulled to the house cause I have a blown front hub and don't have front drive
Talk about bad luck. So tomorrow I'm going to rape my lowrider again and get the driveshaft from it and see it I can't make it work in SVT...
