I hate to admit it, but bought these today.
Wanted a battery powered die grinder for some stuff I'm doing on the camper, and just general light duty stuff. I've got airpowered and a good compressor to run it, but that's not always very convenient. Really wanted to go Ryobi since that's what all my other battery power tool stuff is, and I've had good results with it. Unfortunately Ryobi's 18v battery is pretty big, big enough to be obstructive for this purpose, and the tool by itself is over $150. More than I wanted to spend for what I plan to use it for. Same story for the other brands around, large battery and/or high cost. Milwalkee would be similar in size to that, but don;t want to spend the money on it.
For $50 with battery I figure that this will do the job, and if it doesn't last, I'm not out much. Started to buy a second battery since I don't know how long it'll run on the included 1.5AH one, one charging while the other is in use. A 2AH battery is about $25, the drill with 1.5AH battery was sitting right under it for about $22. Seemed like an easy decision. I'd started to pick up a second Ryobi drill back during the "dealer days" sale at Home Depot just to have a small one to toss in a drawer in the house, but never did. Now I'vbe got one to toss in the drawer.
Unfortunately discovered after I got home that the grinder I grabbed must have been old stock. The battery with the drill is set up for USB-C charging. The one with the grinder is an older bayonett style connector. Got to keep up with two charging methods, but at least the type C is nearly universal and everywhere these days.
No heavy use of the grinder, but did put it to work removing more silicon sealant on the camper. Worked like a champ. Almost worked too well, the radial bristle discs that didn't harm the fiberglass gelcoat at cordless drill speeds, can dig in at the speeds this thing turns. Fortunately I suspected that might happen and tested in a hidden area before going to town with it.
